Coloured pencil strawberries
It this is how I started my portfolio, I started from scratch as I was not happy with my older works. During this I found a new love for looted pencil, see my process in the photos below.

Tonal Still life.
My tonal still life is of two dice. I picked this because work currently in a casino and I love my job. I wanted to pay homage to my job and the new confidence it gives me.

Monochrome Gouache still life.
My monochrome still life is of a tomato, in purple and violet hues. I thought up this idea when remembering primary and high school art while looking for more diverse ideas to an out my portfolio. Doing the brought me a lot of joy just because of the absurdity and weirdness of it.

Digital Portrait.
My digital portrait using a Pinterest reference. I wanted to showcase my digital arts in a painterly manner. I am new to drawing portraits, but I wanted to get better at it. Below the stills is the Timelapse from the app I use ‘Procreate’.

charcoal portrait.
My charcoal portrait also uses a Pinterest reference. I don’t have much to say on this one in the way of feelings except that it’s slightly uncanny valley and I wish to get better with anatomy.

Digital beta fish.
The digital beta fish was my second attempt to showcase my digital arts skills more so with colour than the portrait as the portrait was very neutral coloured and I like to wok with a range of high saturation popping colours and low saturation neutrals.

Oil pastel still life.
Haven’t see oil pastel in a very long tie as I not personally a fan o them but wanted to show my work with multiple mediums.
Oil pastel still life I find relatively frustrating personally. But I decided to set aside my qualms to further my portfolio, in the image below youlse a flower and lie vase. Th pastels themselves wee not the highest quality and kept lifting but I feel I did the best i could with the materials at hand. Perhaps in the future il invest in better oil pastels and give them another go.
